Queen Quilt

A quilt sized for a queen bed, typically 90×108 inches.

A queen quilt is sized for a queen mattress (60×80 inches), the most common American bed size. A standard queen quilt is approximately 90×108 inches, with enough drop to reach the floor on the sides or tuck under the pillows at the top. Queen quilts require substantial yardage — typically 8–12 yards of total fabric — and significant time to assemble. Managing a queen quilt through a domestic sewing machine can be physically demanding; many quilters send them to longarm quilters.
