How do I get featured on NiftyFifty?+
If you run a quilt shop, host a quilt show, design patterns, run a popular quilting YouTube channel, blog, or podcast — email hello@niftyfiftyquilting.com with your site and a short note about what you do. We add new listings continuously. The basic directory listing is free and includes a description, link, and "Featured on NiftyFifty" badge you can display on your site.
What are the partnership tiers?+
We offer three tiers. (1) Listed: free basic directory placement with description and outbound link — open to any quilting business or creator. (2) Verified: editorial-vetted partner with dofollow link, prominent placement, and reciprocal-link exchange. (3) Featured: premium placement, co-marketing slots in our newsletter, social media cross-posting, and affiliate partnership where applicable. Verified and Featured tiers require a reciprocal link from your site back to NiftyFifty.
How do I add the 'Featured on NiftyFifty' badge to my site?+
Copy the HTML snippet from this page's "Get the badge" section below. The badge links back to your specific NiftyFifty listing, so visitors who click through learn more about you and discover our community. Verified partners get a higher-resolution badge variant.
How does the backlink exchange work?+
We feature you in our directory (with a description, link, and any partnership tier benefits). You add a backlink to NiftyFifty from your site — typically in your resources, recommended-by, or partners section, or as part of a blog post mentioning us. Backlinks from established quilting sites help our domain authority and help your audience discover our community swaps, bees, and quilt-alongs.
Do you have an affiliate program for online quilt shops?+
For shops that already have established affiliate programs (most online quilt fabric retailers do), we can use your existing affiliate links in our directory listing and shopping recommendations. Email us at hello@niftyfiftyquilting.com with your affiliate program details. We're transparent with our readers about affiliate relationships.
What kind of traffic does NiftyFifty send?+
Our directory pages send referral traffic with full UTM tracking (utm_source=niftyfiftyquilting&utm_medium=directory). Reach out and we'll share monthly referral stats for your specific listing. Our audience is established US quilters across all 50 states, ranging from beginners to expert quilters — most are between 35 and 75 years old, predominantly female, and engaged in active quilting projects.
Can I update my listing?+
Yes. Every directory listing has a "Claim or update this listing" link that opens a pre-filled email. Send us your updated details (description, link, photos, specialties), and we'll refresh your entry. Listings are reviewed and updated within 5 business days.
I represent a quilt show or festival. How do we get listed?+
Major US quilt shows are already in our directory. If you organize a show — large or small — email us with the dates, venue, organizer, and any other relevant details. Verified shows get an Event schema entry that may appear in Google's Event carousel, plus inclusion in our annual show calendar.
