I Bee Quiltin

I Bee Quiltin opened in downtown Norfolk in 2016, and in the years since it's built out a full class calendar that runs from absolute beginner to advanced piecing — which matters more than it sounds, since plenty of small shops pick one end of that range and stick to it.

The shop itself carries fabric, patterns, and notions along with panels for quilters who like a focal print to build a project around, and the downtown Norfolk location makes it an easy stop if you're already in the area running other errands.

It's a newer shop as these things go, but a full decade in now, and the class-first approach means it's become as much a teaching space as a fabric stop — a good option if you're just picking up quilting and want instruction alongside your yardage, not just a shelf to browse alone.
