A naturalistic block capturing the distinctive shape of a maple leaf. Perfect for autumn quilts, this block combines half-square triangles with squares and a stem applique for a realistic look.
Cotton quilting fabric, batting, thread, fusible web for stem
Make 3 HST units for the leaf points. Combine with plain squares for the background. Add a bias-cut stem using applique. Press and square up to size.
