Olive Green Quilting Fabric

Olive anchors the modern earthy palette — rust, terracotta, mustard, and warm cream are natural partners. For contrast, dusty blue or blush pink lifts olive without fighting its muted character.

Warm — olive carries yellow and brown undertones, which is why it feels earthy rather than fresh. If your palette leans cool, a sage or emerald may sit better; if it leans warm, olive is your green.

With 108-inch wide backing, one length of your quilt's height plus about eight inches usually does it for anything up to queen size. That's the whole point of wide backing — no center seam to piece.
