All New England Shop Hop is a passport hop: you pick up a passport, visit participating shops during the hop window, and collect a stamp at each one. Completed passports go into prize drawings, and most shops run their own hop-week specials on top of that. You do not have to visit every shop — most quilters do a handful close to home and treat the rest as an excuse for a road trip.
