Liberty, Indiana is a small town, but Pohlar Fabrics carries itself like one of the state's biggest quilt shops — because it is. Since 1987 this shop has been building a collection that now runs past 8,000 bolts, which means whatever you're after, from reproduction prints to the newest panels, there's a real chance it's sitting on a shelf here rather than something you have to special-order.

It's also a Bernina dealer, so if you're shopping for a new machine or need service on the one you've got, you're in the right place. And if piecing a top is more your speed than quilting it, the shop's longarm service will take it the rest of the way.

Pohlar also sells online, so if a trip out to Liberty isn't in the cards, you can still shop the stash from home. But for a shop with this many bolts and this much history, it's worth making the drive at least once.
