Creation Station Quilters Workshop is one of the newest names on the Massachusetts quilt shop map — it opened its doors in 2026 at 13 Groton Harvard Rd in Ayer, up in the Nashoba Valley about 45 minutes northwest of Boston.

Don't let "new" fool you into expecting a bare-bones fabric stop: this is a full-service setup. There's quilting fabric on the shelves, classes running for every skill level, longarm quilting services for finishing your tops, and the practical stuff most shops send you elsewhere for — sharpening and sewing machine repair under the same roof. For quilters in the Ayer, Groton, and Harvard area, that's a genuine one-stop shop.
