Aurora Sewing Center has been a family-owned fixture in Western New York since 1978, and it's grown in the way a genuinely trusted business grows — not into one flagship megastore, but into three separate storefronts, each presumably still worth the visit on its own merits.

Machine sales and repair anchor the business, and the class calendar is enormous by small-shop standards — more than 300 classes a year, which means there's essentially always something running if you're looking to learn a new technique or just want a reason to get out of the house and sew with other people.
