The nine patch is one of the first blocks every quilter learns. This garden variation uses floral fabrics and fresh greens to create a block that's perfect for springtime quilts.
Cotton quilting fabric, batting, thread
Cut 5 dark squares and 4 light squares (3.5" each for a 9" block). Arrange in alternating pattern. Sew in three rows, then join.
