Finished size is 99" x 110-1/2" (not 79" x 110-1/2"); block size 11-1/2" (not 9"); backing 9 yards (not 5-1/2). Solid pink: 3 yards (not 2-1/2), cut into 4 (4"-wide) lengthwise strips trimmed to 2 (4" x 104") side borders and 2 (4" x 99-1/2") top/bottom borders. Solid white: cut 11 (2-1/4"-wide) binding strips (not 9). Divide backing into 3 (3-yard) pieces; seams run parallel to the top and bottom edges.
