Black print squares should be 36 squares 3" x 3" and 144 squares 2-1/2" x 2-1/2". In Step 1 the first black square (center of pieced triangle only) is 3" x 3"; the teal texture 4" strip is sewn to the top of the black 3" square in all 36 pieced triangles; remaining squares in each pieced triangle are 2-1/2". In Diagram I only the first black square should be 3"; the others are correct at 2-1/2".
