X-Quisite (version 1)

Description

Using a pattern from Better Homes and Gardens 501 Quilt Blocks, I chose X-Quisite because it is reminiscent of the Maryland flag and inspired by water ripples in the Inner Harbor of Baltimore. I used a variety of batiks to give the block movement. This block has white on white dots, although I am not 100% sold on this white on white pattern. I plan to do another test block using snowball corners on 9 pieces instead of 36 individual 1.5 inch pieces to make my life easier!
