This group is for beginner quilters wanting to join their first Quilting Bee. While we want all blocks to look great and perfect, this is a groups for beginners so imperfections are allowed as long as the block is still usable and to the correct size.
Guidelines & Rules
-There will be one Queen Bee per month. Once we have all 12 members months will be assigned.
-Due to high shipping costs all members need to be located in the United States.
-Queen Bee months may only be swapped if agreed to by both members.
-Each month members are to mail 2 finished 12” quilt blocks to the Queen Bee.
-This is a 12 month commitment please only sign up if you can commit to all 12 months.
-Please let the group leader know if there will be any delays in shipping or issues that arise. We are here to have fun but life still happens so we have to be understanding of issues that may come up.
-If there is a member not following rules/commitment they will be moved to the back of the rotation and if actions continue they may be asked to leave the group.
-100% prewashed quilting cotton is required. Scraps are welcomed as long as they fit the Queen’s theme.
-As this is my first time leading a Quilting Bee please be courteous as we learn together.
