Thirteen years ago, my sister taught me how to sew by making a quilted bag. Once I figured that out, I decided to give quilting a whirl. I love the math and precision of quilting. And, of course, all the pretty fabrics. I like making different blocks and sometimes I actually put them together into a quilt.

My grandmother’s sister taught me to quilt when I was in high school and after a long hiatus I’ve gotten back to it this year.

I have been quilting for almost 27 years. I have also won about 36 ribbons for my quilts. I truly enjoy the craft of quilting and will continue to help others learn.

I’ve been quilting for approximately a year. I just decided one day to start and then I’ve been hooked since. I am self taught and definitely not perfect.

I have been an avid quilt maker for 20 years. I have made hundreds of quilts. I am more of a rebel quilt maker. I love making scrappy quilts. I like the challenge of using my stash to make something beautiful. The more pieces in a quilt the more I want to make it. Ha!
